Privacy policy
Last updated 13 October 2026
1. Who we are
Lodway is software for courier companies, made by STRATEGRO LTD (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data we hold, why, and what you can do about it.
Our details
- Company
- STRATEGRO LTD, company number 16081510
- Registered office
- 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX
- Privacy questions
- mateen@strategro.co.uk
2. Our two roles
For our own website, our customers' accounts and our sales, we decide what happens to the data — we are the controller.
A courier company using Lodway puts its own data into it: its customers, the people deliveries go to, its drivers, jobs, photos and signatures. For that data the courier company is the controller and we are its processor — we hold and handle it only to run the service for them, under our terms. If you booked a delivery or drive for a courier company, their own privacy policy, on their address, is the one that covers you, and they are the people to ask.
3. What we hold, and why
If you visit lodway.com
- Visitor statistics from Google Analytics — only if you press Accept on the cookie notice. Nothing from Google loads until you do, and "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page changes your mind.
- Like any website, our servers may record technical details of each request, such as your IP address, to keep the service secure and to find faults.
If your company uses Lodway
- Your name, email address, the company you work for and your role, and a phone number if you give one. Your password is kept only as a one-way scramble — nobody here can read it.
- What you do in the account, recorded in its audit log so your company can see who changed what.
- Your company's plan and billing history. Card payments to us go through Stripe; we never see or store the full card number.
- What you tell us when you contact us for help.
We use this to provide the service you signed up for (our contract with your company) and to keep it secure. We email you about your account — confirming your address, resetting a password, billing — and do not send you marketing unless you ask for it.
Our people cannot look inside your company's data unless an administrator there turns on support access in Settings → Support access. That access ends when they say, and every visit is recorded in your audit log and ours.
If we contacted your company about Lodway
We find courier companies on public sources — the Companies House register, companies' own websites and the register of goods vehicle operator licences — and may find a director's public LinkedIn page through a web search. We hold the company's details, a director's name and role, and a record of our emails and calls. Our legitimate interest is offering our software to businesses it was built for. We email limited companies only, at addresses they publish. Calls are logged with their length; we do not record conversations. The full account, and how to make it stop, is on how we contact businesses.
4. Who else handles it
We do not sell personal data. These services handle it for us, each only for the job named:
- Hosting: the company whose servers Lodway runs on.
- Stripe — taking payment for subscriptions.
- The email service we send through, and Google Workspace for our own mailboxes.
- Twilio — our phone calls and texts, and WhatsApp messages for courier companies that turn WhatsApp on (with Meta, who run WhatsApp).
- Google Analytics — visitor statistics, only with your consent.
- Serper — the web search that finds public LinkedIn pages for our sales.
- Anthropic (Claude) — an AI assistant we use to research courier companies and draft our sales emails.
- Xero or Intuit (QuickBooks) — only if your company connects its own accounts, to send it the invoices it issues.
Some of these are based in the United States. Where data leaves the UK it is protected by the safeguards UK law approves, such as the UK–US data bridge or the ICO's international data transfer agreement.
5. How long we keep it
- Your company's account: for as long as it exists. If you stop paying, access stops but nothing is deleted, so you can pick up where you left off. Ask us to delete it and we will, within a month — apart from invoices and records the law makes us keep, usually for six years.
- Sales records: until a company asks us to stop. We then delete the names of its people and keep only a do-not-contact mark, so it is never contacted again by mistake.
- Analytics: for the period set in Google Analytics, at most 14 months.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it — including any marketing, which we will stop straight away — or ask us to limit it. Write to mateen@strategro.co.uk; we reply within a month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
7. Keeping it safe
Every courier company's data is kept apart from every other's by the database itself, not just by the application. Passwords are scrambled one way, keys and passwords for connected services are stored encrypted, and the connection between your browser and Lodway is always encrypted.
8. Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes. If a change affects how we use your data, we will tell you first.
